Yes, I said Pizza!

So I am super pumped about sharing this recipe with you guys! Pizza is something that my husband often craves. But with us wanting to eat healthy, and me not being able to digest that type of food well, we had to find another solution. As promised on my instagram page (@coach_millie_s), here is the Low FODMAP pizza recipe!

Low FODMAP Protein Pizza:

  • 1 lb ground meat of choice (we used venison, but you could do beef or turkey as well)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 tsp organic ground flax meal
  • 1/4-1/2 cup organic brown rice flour
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp basil season (or any other preferred seasonings)

Mix these together, spread a light layer of flour on a round cooking pan, and spread meat mix out in a crust form. (Keep roughly 1/4-1/2 in thick). Spread some organic bbq sauce on top. Then layer it with cheese. (For my husband I do thicker bbq, and his favorite cheese. Then for myself, I do a light layer of bbq, and organic white cheddar cheese.)

Bake at 350 for 20 minutes. Add optional bacon like we did, and bake for another 5 minutes. 

Cut pizza into 6 slices. Serving size 1 slice. ENJOY!
